A trip to Pusat Sains Negara

The Chess And I

Janice said the chess looks like a man to her but for me it looks just like a chess. A kind advice: Janice dear, you better clean your mind and soul before you start talking bout sperms again!!LMAO

On 21 July 2009, Tuesday, we ( i mean all the Form 6 students) went to Pusat Sains Negara and oh, not to mention that day was Janice's birthday! ^^ Anyway, the main purpose of the trip was to attend a talk by a doctor(I have forgotten his name =X) on biochemistry together with some other schools like SMK Subang Utama, SMK Sekyen 11 etc. well, he is not a doctor who practise medicine but someone who has doctorate. He is 92 and yet, he walked straight and he insisted on giving the talk without the microphone. we were in the audition hall of moderate size and so its quite hard for us to hear what he talked but well, we still manage to get the main idea, I think =P (haha but the truth is we weren't really listening but playing around =X)

Then, after the short talk, we had lunch before we went around to explore the Pusat Sains Negara. Even though that was not my first time there, i still find it interesting and wait, did i learn anything?? hmm.... i don't think so xP However, the exploration period was short, i think around an hour or so only and we had to head back to the bus so never get to take much photos. =(

The First Fruit

The Longan

my mum planted a longan tree in front of our house about a year ago and the first fruit has finally ripen. This morning, my parents insisted me to take photo of them holding the fruit =.= and here they are:

Here's a closer shot on the longan (My dad purposely stuck his thumb there when he asked me to take this photo just so to show the size of the longan. My mum even suggested me to take the photo of longan next to a pingpong ball!! LMFAO man!!)Well, it tastes sweet but somehow it taste and smell like lychee and not to mention its seed is double the size of normal longan!

Chocolate cake!!!!

Well, so a friend of mine promised me to gimme chocolate cake tomorrow!! but the thing is, i can't wait to taste it now!! i can't help imagining how it will melt away in my mouth and oh, the sweetness that will last in my mouth for god-knows-how-long!! omg!! chocolate cake!!!!

p.s. i purposely went for jogging PLUS badminton today just so that my weight will be maintained the same even after i finish the 0.6kg chocolate cake!! =P

Bon Odori

I've always wanted to go to Bon Odori but my parents never let cause they thought it is not right for a christian to attend a celebration of Japanese ghost. However, this year, i finally succeeded persuade them to let me go. So, last Saturday(18 July 2009) I went to Bon Odori a.k.a. Japanese Festival which was located at the Panasonic Sports Centre with Yee and Janice.

As usual, it is very crowded, probably thoudands of people attended it despite the hazy weather and the threat of H1N1. At the centre of the sports centre was a stage, with performers leading the crowds around them dancing some japanese traditional dance but too bad i never get to join them cause we were kinda rushing that time.

Anyway, i got to walked around the sports center, checking on each store to see if there's any nice food =P but to my disappointment, most of these foods are actually jusco's food and even those workers are jusco workers so there's nothing special bout the food =( The only special thing was the sake but it costs RM69.90 for one bottle and RM10 for a small cup!!! Expensive right? i never get to try it so i can't tell you how it taste like. =\

Here's a photo of the food we have bought, form left to right are meat balls from Aussie(dun ask me why they sell Aussie beef in Japanese Festival =X), Japanese fried noodles(i dun really like it though) and sushi.This one scoop of ice cream here costs me 5 bucks and yet it taste like any other normal ice cream except that it has a japanese name!! bastard!! =X

The Teacher

okay, so we were supposed to have line dance lesson by this particular teacher this afternoon but it turned out to be a chit-chat session after all =P Anyway, i think i begin to love this teacher more and more despite of her sometimes-over-serious-attitude which kinda stress me out. Guess what? we, i'm referring to the teacher, Yee, Leng, Yin, Xian and I here, had been talking bout guys in Form 6 and teacher told us bout who she thinks are the best choice as a boyfriend from her perspective as a mother. weird eh? that's the fact. but it seems like those she thought are good, are not that good in our eyes(except for the one yin has taken of course xP) BUT she do have the same opinion when it comes to our Mr. President here. He is seriously the BIG NO-NO man!! Don't you ever fall for him soo yee!!!!! I'll kill HIM if you do!! (Don't worry, i will never kill my best friend =P)

But then again, she told the same thing as the other too, do not go for guys who are younger than you nor even guys whom are of your age cause they are far more immature than you think. Then, SOMEONE( i mean the big-mouthed-KWANSOOYEE here =X no offence yee =P) mentioned his name to the teacher and she was like NOOOOOOOOO!!! Here's the conversation between us:

Teacher: I don't think he's mature and there is a vast difference between you and him.
Me: Why, teacher? i do think he's mature.
Teacher: No, girls are more mature than the guys. Take me and husband as an example. He's 3 years older than me and yet i find him immature at times.
Me: Haha. that happens to my parents too. My dad is 4 years older than my mum and yet my mum thinks he's very childish.
Yin: biasalah tu. your dad memang very cute one larh.
Xian: Ya lor, your dad very cute leh.
Me: But teacher, he is more mature than me!
Teacher: That's what YOU think. Anyway, you and him are like the sky and the ground.
Me: I thought I'm the ground and he's the sky?
Yin: Aiyo, what teacher means is both of you are very different form each other.
Me: I know I know. But what i meant was i thought he's way better than me so he's the sky?
Teacher: No, Sherise.
Me: But anyway he's leaving wert?
Teacher: Some relationships are able to endure despite the distance between them but then you see, most relationships can't.
(Suddenly all of us turned to look at leng XD hehehehe good luck leng!)

So well, i guess she's right?

p.s. An advice from a teacher and a mom: Do not go for guys who are younger nor of the same age as you girls!

C-A-P

So my sisters gave me a cap as my birthday present, yeah, its a CAP. i wonder why they gave me a cap cause i never wear a cap unless when i go for jogging. Anyway, be grateful (at least this is what my friends keep telling me to XD) and whats more, it looks kinda cool isn't it? =PDon't blame me for being a camwhore, the cap is just too cool =P

4th July 2009

Don't ask me why is the title of this blog 4th July 2009 cause there are no other reasons other than because today is 4th July 2009? xP LOL ignore me, i'm just trying to chill out a lil' bit by crapping XD

Anyway, i went for the biology and chemistry tuition class with Mr. Linggam( i guess this is the way to spell his name =X) for the 2nd time. He was half an hour late by the way. oops!! =X The chemistry class was like a oh my god for me cause i don't understand a single thing coming out from his mouth especially when he was trying to explain to me the way to count the number of particles in each unit of a crystalline. @.@ i could only watch him with my wide-openened-eyes and equally wide-opened-mouth as his mouth opened and closed like a goldfish while he drew complicated plus distorted diagram on the white board x.x Then i finally came out with a equation :

SheRise + Chemistry = Headache+ Confusions

Is the above equation balanced? I dunno, my chemistry sucks. You can refer to your Chemisty teacher if you really want to know if this equation is balanced. Oh, for those who are taking tuition at USJ Taipan Kasturi, i would recommend Teacher Freddy but please don't tell him Sherise came up with this equation =X

Then, right after the chemistry class, we had biology class. It was not that bad compared to the Chemistry. oh, you know what? I just got to know from Mr. Linggam that everyone is supposed to go to toilet (I'm referring to big business here xP) twice a day. Do you? cause, honestly, i don't. I have it ONCE a day, but well, at least better than those who have it once in TWO days right? xP hehe. Before i went back, Mr. Linggam wished me Happy Belated Birthday (cause i told him Thursday was my birthday XD) and i asked for pressie from him. Amazingly, he promised to give me chocolate next saturday!!! x) LOL then i said if teacher were to break his promise, then he'll have to give me double the amount of chocolate and he said okay!! XD Gosh!!! I'm lucky huh? =P but thinking back, i'm kinda like a bad student eh? always asking for chocolate from teachers... =X

I'm now officially 18!!!

oh dear, i feel so proud to announce to the whole world that i turn 18 today xP hehe.. but, somehow, this turn out to be just-like-any-other-birthdays cause i spent half of my day at smk seafield today, being the flow manager instead of timekeeper as i was told earlier. T.T but well, it wasn't really that bad actually cause those choral speaking participants were great!! they did successfully made me laugh out loud XD but too bad i never get to meet up with allwin and chin!! *sighs* and oh, we went back earlier today. that means we never get to see the closing ceremony as well as finding out who is the winner of the day but i think the group 1 stands the biggest chance cause they were GREAT!!! x)

Anyway, I got home around 1p.m. and left for bus station at 2.30 p.m, reached K.L at 4.15p.m. just on time for my tuition which starts at 4.30 x) then.. finally managed to get home at 9.30p.m. all tired and exhausted =( but luckily i found something in the fridge which freshened me up right away!! here's the picture of it, but too bad its not in the complete state when i took picture of it cause i forgotten to do so before i cut it xP

okay, so after the Hari Koperasi, we all felt that its a waste to throw away the menus and 'promoter' that we had made so we decided to put it in our class as a decoration. oh, btw, did i ever mention that this 'promoter' is made by janice and according to her, 'he' is her so-called husband XD anyway, here are some photos janice and i have taken with him after i put it on the board behind the class. We have 14 students now, including this cadboard man =P

Hari Koperasi cum Hari Terbuka of SMK Alam Megah

My school had our Hari Koperasi cum Hari Terbuka last friday and all the lower six classes were forced to handle a stall. My class, the L6 Bio has combined with the physics class as they only have 3 students in their class (LOL) to form 'Bread-niacs The Thirstquencher' As known from the name, our stall sells bread and drinks. These photos are the menus and 'promoter' of our stall.
We had to cut off the lower part of the drink menu because our class president changed the drinks last minute. Urgh!!p.s. the 'promoter' has the height of soo yee xP
